What is a biometric digital punch clock?

eBiometric is an attendance tracking device of the latest generation integrated with A.I. technology which allows employee recognition during the clocking process via:
- Facial analysis even when wearing a mask or using other types of personal protective equipment without identification
- NFC Badge o personal card assigned to an employee
- Contactless body temperature measurement, it is enough to approach the device

Does biometric digital punch clock ensure compliance with Covid-19 procedures?

eBiometric is a digital punch clock for attendance tracking which ensures compliance with security requirements introduced to counteract Covid-19. In fact, employees can register clockings simply by approaching the device, in complete safety and ensuring the social distancing required by the regulations. No need for presence of a company employee to manage access and clockings.
With eBiometric it is possible to measure the body temperature automatically - employee should simply approach the device without any contact or touch of the screen.
The system will communicate whether the body temperature is normal or higher than 37.5°.

The biometric digital punch clock is able to perform the face recognition? Even when wearing a mask?

Yes, eBiometric is integrated with artificial intelligence system that permits to check if there is a person with the help of the dual lens binocular camera and infrared sensors.
The recognition is also possible if the face is partially covered by a mask or other personal protective equipment - PPE, without identifying the employee and without transmitting any data.

What is a contactless termoscanner?

eBiometric is also termoscanner it permits the measurement of body temperature without human intervention, at a distance of 0.7 m and with accuracy of ±0.3°. The temperature is measured when an employee approaches the IoT device, there is no need for a special person responsible for body temperature measurement and access control. The device immediately indicates the temperature of the employee and whether it is normal (below 37.5°). If the temperature is higher than 37.5°, a notification will be sent immediately to the department responsible for emergency intervention and the access will be denied for the employee.

Is it possible to clock in with a company badge?

Of course, with eBiometric it is possible to clock in/out using personal cards and badges with NFC technology assigned to employees. When the employee approaches his NFC badge close to the IoT device, it is automatically recognized and the presence information is transmitted to personnel administration system of the company. The badge can also be used for access control management with the function of opening company doors and gates.

Real Time IoT Device

eBiometric provides the attendance tracking data in real time via wi-fi, Ethernet or 4G network.
The data can be monitored via Ecosagile Time on cloud or integrated into company system for attendance tracking already in use in the company.

Functions also with SIM Card?

Yes, in case Wi-Fi o Ethernet connection is not available, eBiometric transmits the presence information via 4G - LTE network.
The device has a protected slot where it is possible to insert a SIM Card (not provided).

Is it possible to manage access via turnstiles?

Of course, eBiometric permits to manage access control also via turnstiles without human intervention.
Turnstiles and company gates can be opened using an NFC company badge assigned to the employee.

Where is it possible to position the device?

The eBiometric device fits any environment; it can be attached to the wall using the mounting plate provided with the device or even placed near an entrance/exit turnstile. In the latter case, the company requirements in terms of access control must be studied carefully.
